We had to wait hour to be able to go into the room, rooms were dull, i will not be returning there any time soon.
It is well situated for shopping and tube and easy access from Heathrow via tube.
No electricity for about 18 hours. Breakfast only in rooms and not great, nor well communicated.
Very good location 2 minutes from subway. The twin room was pretty big.
Poor service, there were no space in lobby. I did not have breakfast, so I cannot judge, but I haven't seen any facilities which I could have it. During our stay there was a power cut for one day. The staff could not help at all. I had to pack my thing in darkness.
Comfortable bed, spacious room
The power went out during the night. When I awakened at 5 am, the room was freezing and everything was dark. No one answered when I called the front desk, and I had to gather my things in the dark to leave. The hotel staff made no effort to help people.
It's location for shopping is excellent. Also good for shows etc as it is beside a tube station and a short distance from the west end.
They had a power cut on Sat. morning.
Certainly very convenient just being 2 blocks or so from Harrods.
However hotel only banks on its convenient location feature as (1) room was very basic: (1a) matress thin and bed sags (1b) only 3 very weak 15 watt lamps on walls, (1c) bedside lamps were broken (1d) room badly in need of refurbishment. Expected a little bit more for money paid. I will look for another hotel next time.
The room space; valuables safe;location;warmth;friendly staff
Bathroom soaps and lotions were not replenished during a 4 night stay.Bathroom floor needs repair, also bath glass screen.
Very dirty, badly maintained and untrained staff.
very poor service, bad design, not clean
Nothing, we have seen rats in the room, rooms are very old and not clean and staff is not friendly
like it has not been rep
its location next to a nice pub and fantastic restaurant.
I prepaid for breakfast and expected at a minimum a decent breakfast (including eggs or full English Breakfast). When I checked in the staff didn't inform me that the Hotel didn't serve breakfast b/c they simply don't have a restaurant area. It was only very basic breakfast which they serve in your room. In addition the lobby was extremely small...
The room was dirty, the curtains were stained with what appeared to be blood, the chair seat cushion was stained, the ceiling in the hallway had been removed, exposing ductwork. There were many more disappointments. I have stayed at this hotel a number of times over the past 15 years, and it was always a pleasurable experience. The facility has changed ownership within the past two years, and it is no longer a place that I will stay.
Location is good.
Very poorly maintained hotel. In particular hallways are horrible, wallpaper is falling off walls and the lift is very old. There was construction happening next door which meant little peace and quiet. The female staff at reception at check in were very unfriendly, however the male staff in the evening were much nicer.
the staff facing the public did their best to make stay reasonable
Tired decoration, worn carpets, broken shower with cold water only, no plug in the sink, no remote control for the television.................I could go on. A careless management trading on its location. In summary, slovenly and appalling.
